The Surface Game

Brief History

Petscop is a game that was meant to release in 1997 for the Sony PSX by a company named Garalina, which has published no other title.

It is a puzzle-adventure game where the main character, must go catch all pets found inside Even Care.
The premise unfolds as you start on the Gift Plane, which would serve as the main hub if the game was in a state of completion.

The game uses the capabilities available on the PSX console to create a mix of 2D and 3D graphics, as shown in the pictures above.
When you begin, you find yourself in the Gift Plane. A white void with a road, rocks, what appears to be trees with Gifts on top of them, and a pink sign next to the entrance of it.
written on it is a message from the Gift Plane Staff, telling the player that it once used to be the home of several "pets", saying that 48 in total have been failed to be removed.
A clear indication of what the game's original plan was supposed to be, assuming itself existing in a completed form.

After following the road you'll see a pink and blue building decorated with a garden, Even Care.

This is the only level that was completed in the game, having a total of 6 pets to catch.

As previously said, there is not much past the point of what was completed in the "Surface" game. However, if all of the pets have been caught, a message congratulating us on catching every pet in Even Care will show up mentioning "Toneth", a seemingly scrapped pet. It reads that although we've seen all so far, there will be more.

Things take a slight bizarre turn telling whoever is playing that the game is a "growing organism" and that inputs are useful for it's development.

The user is then told to leave the Playstation on, and that they can now exit the room.

What is just here isn't all that the game has to offer. There's more, but it's hidden from the common eye.
It is not as incomplete as it looks.
